Maybe You Wonder These Things Too

Updated: Jan 12

ree

I'm just wondering again,

it's my favorite thing to do.

Maybe you like to wonder,

and you wonder these things too.

How deep are the crevices of a hand that can hold the world in the center of its palm?

How small is Satan if Jesus can crush his head with the heel of his foot?

How big must Jesus be if Satan is big enough to roamed the earth "going back and forth in it?"

What part of the sea can hear the voice of Jesus when he says "Be still?"

Is it the same part that held Peter's feet when he walked upon it?

How is it that 5,000 demons can overtake one man's body,

yet beg for Jesus for mercy before he is barely out of the boat?

These questions don't frustrate me,

they leave me in awe of the Only One who has the answers.

I love to wonder.

(last lines of FM Static's song - Something to Believe In)

"And if you know what I'm talkin' about, then together we're both workin' it out.

Don't want to spend my lifetime figuring out, that I coulda just said one prayer."

"....Don't want to spend my lifetime figuring out that I missed the point, now it's over."

Don't miss the point or it's over.

He is who He says He is.
